A Glance into my USA Life

Image
Hello everyone! So this past week has been pretty stressful for me. I had two midterms and a paper due in History. However, I still managed to remain sane and even have a little fun with my friends. At the beginning of the week I had the privilege of attending the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs- Soul Food Luncheon. It was an full of entertainment and good food in representation of Black History Month. To the right is a picture of how nicely the Student Center Ballroom was decorated for the event. That night I had to crack open my textbook and begin studying for my Biology midterm. Hopefully, I did pretty good. Towards to end of the week I got to relax a bit and enjoy time with my friends. We watched movies and played hide and seek with our RAs. Overall my college experience has been nothing short of amazing! I'm sure you all will feel same way soon.

Life Lessons: College Edition

Image
Being in college has taught me many things that are useful outside the classroom. For example, I have learned how to multitask through my job as a Jag Guide. I have established leadership skills by becoming the secretary of a student organization and I gained communication skills by actively socializing with others. I have also learned how to live on my own, which I think is exciting considering you don't have to depend on your parents anymore. Anyhow, I feel that college is definitely a time for growth and you will learn many life lessons along the way.
